"Finding the ideal fit for cycling clothing is an art in itself. Months go into the development of each TRIPLE2 product. It all starts with an idea and many questions!"
What application area is the cycling clothing intended for? Road, MTB, Gravel, Urban? What technical functions should be integrated? Which materials are the perfect choice for the application?
"Of course, anyone can buy the most expensive material on the market and make cycling clothing out of it. However, that doesn't necessarily make it good. The real art of designing truly good cycling clothing lies in finding the symbiosis of perfect material for the intended use, ideal pattern making, and detailed body mapping. This means coordinating the individual parts of the shirt or pants to the riding position and movement on the bike. The more precisely this is done, the better the fit and thus the wearing comfort of the cycling clothing."
"So we are on a daily hunt for the egg-laying woolly milk sow. A process that never ends if one is never satisfied, always wants to improve, and seeks the optimum - in sports as in products. That drives us!"
How do we find the perfect fit for your cycling clothing?
Radbekleidung = DEVELOP. TEST. REPEAT.
"We test our products thoroughly. But before we hit the streets or the trails, it's time for the lab."
"We are passionate cyclists, sometimes a bit crazy but always with a goal in mind: to develop the best and most sustainable cycling clothing there is."
Over 30 ambassadors, team riders, professional athletes test our products to the limit. Alpine crossers, marathon runners, world travelers, tour guides squeeze the last bit of durability, performance, and comfort out of our products. With every torn seam, worn fabric, pinching seat pad, and stuck zipper, we learn something. This is our chance to improve our cycling clothing, whether the defect occurs during a race or on a 20,000 km journey through the wilderness.
"At the beginning, however, there is always an idea. From this, drawings and 3D visualizations, parts lists and detail views, mockups and prototypes are created through months of detailed work. We are constantly in communication with the people who manufacture your cycling clothing. With the real professionals in our productions in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Croatia."
"Here, seamstresses, welders, bonding and laser specialists, and cutting experts spend hours in meticulous work creating the first prototypes. This is followed by the first fitting. Do the products fit? Are there details that need to be technically resolved differently?"

The perfect body?
"Does not exist! Even the perfect fit is always a compromise. Anyone who claims otherwise has never developed cycling clothing."
Why is that? Quite simple: We humans are massively different. Tall, short, fat, thin, long torso, short torso, muscular or wiry. All these variables can and must theoretically be accommodated in a single size of cycling clothing.
The art now lies in finding the best fit for as many cyclists as possible for the respective area of application. A true Sisyphus task. But we gladly accept this challenge and spare no effort.
"That’s why our fitting sessions take place not only with a perfect body model, but with several types within the same size range. In addition, we measure our cycling clothing not only while standing (which is usually standard), but of course also in a seated position on MTB, road bike, gravel bike, and e-bike."
Goal: To find the perfect balance to achieve the best wearing comfort of cycling clothing.
The perfect cycling clothing is created through repetition.
In the next step, our Pattern and Bodymapping team creates mockups of individual details or entire products. The second prototype run of the cycling clothing follows.
And here we go: What happens to the products after 100, 500, 5000 km on the bike? Saltwater, sweat, sun exposure, sunscreen, washing, drying, moldy in the backpack? What happens in daily use with our products? With the help of our ambassadors, who collectively pedal several tens of thousands of kilometers a year on various bicycles, we gather solid feedback on fit, durability, and comfort. After a feedback round, the knowledge from the tests flows into the further development of our cycling clothing and we improve again. As mentioned: Develop, Test, Repeat!
